I have a few bricks on the side of my house that started flaking after last winter. Can you come out and give me an estimate to fix them?

Absolutely, we can take a look at that for you. When the face of a brick starts flaking off, we usually call that spalling, and Michigan winters can definitely make it worse. Once the face of the brick is damaged, replacing the affected bricks is usually a better repair than trying to patch the surface. We’d also look around the area to see if water is getting into the wall and contributing to the problem. If it’s only a few bricks, we’re not going to tell you that you need to rebuild the whole wall. We can come out, see exactly what’s going on, and give you a free quote to repair it.
