I was looking at my chimney from the ground and it looks like some of the bricks near the top are cracked. Is that something you guys can fix?

Yes, cracked bricks near the top of a chimney can usually be repaired. The first thing we’d want to do is take a closer look to see how many bricks are actually damaged. Sometimes what looks like a couple cracked bricks from the ground turns out to be a little more once we get up there. We’d also check the mortar and chimney crown because water getting in from above is often what causes the damage. If the rest of the chimney is in good shape, we may be able to replace just the damaged bricks instead of rebuilding the whole thing.
